Procedure for Filing An Appeal From a Common Pleas Court or Municipal Decision

File the following with the clerk of the trial court (NOT the court of appeals) within 30 days of the date of the judgment being appealed:

A $175 filing fee.
If you cannot afford to pay the filing fee, you may demonstrate that fact to the court by filing an Affidavit of Indigency or proof that you were determined to be indigent in the trial court. You may file the affidavit or other proof in place of the filing fee.
